When we read or hear scripture, we must try to never forget that these words are Spirit and Life. Otherwise me may be tempted to gloss over them or make choices regarding them, and fail to receive their blessing.

The two verses that grab me most (at this time, in this Psalm) are the first and the last versus.

Verse 1 - "In my distress I cried to YHVH. And he heard me. Verse 2. "I am for peace. But when I speak, they are for war."

This Psalm also has a stern warning for all liars! Please note, that you can get free downloads of this music on the likeabirdinatree website: https://likeabirdinatree.com

A wise man once wrote, that looking back and thinking, "the former days were better than these!", is not a good idea. He proceeds to shed more light and wisdom on this, in a passage from his inspired writing: The Book of Ecclesiastes. Of course, I am speaking of King Solomon the wise.

In difficult days ones attitude needs help. Learn from one, considered by many, the wisest man to ever have lived!
